Default bmw e90 2006 mileage via obd?

is it possible to do a e90 fully by obd2?

dash & cas? (mileage going down)

i’m trying to tell a customer that the dash must be removed to program/erase the 35080! but now there telling me they can get it done fully obd2?

i get fed up explaining sometimes so now i tell them to bring them in and i will plug in ..i always say if it goes diagnostic then they lucky but if not they pay extra for wasted time and removal some people will argue black is white all day long till you show them its definatly not going diag.
taxis drivers are the best they always know someone who is cheaper/doing the same job diagnostically .

also is it just me or do customers think you will drop everything for them...oh but its in for test in a hour or service tomorrow?????? so why wait till last minute grrrrrrrrrrr

I can also relate to so many of these stories.

Just earlier this week. A bloke brings a VW Amarok and asks if I can do it. I go - yes, name my price and he instantly tells me about this "other" guy he's got and who he'll ask for a quote.

I say sure whenever you are done shopping around let me know.

An hour later I get a message onto my online advert where this same bloke is asking for a quote on the Amarok! Obviously he was too embarrassed when I rang him up so never heard from him again.

So much for the customers and their fairytales...

It never ends buddy. I assume that, if a customer's mouth is moving, they're lying. I always reply that my pricing is non-negotiable and suggest they take advantage of the other service. My favorite is while I'm holding the keys, they try to short change... then magically find the full amount.

its not always the customer fault.
there are some people that say they can do it diagnostically just to get the customer in
and once they in then they tell them that its not possible and have to remove everything.

most of the time its the newbies that buy a 50 dollar digiwigi and belief that it go through diag.
i know some personally that have buy a digiwigi and tell me its possible to do a BMW through diag.

just last i have spoke to a guy that tell me he wants to do a mini 2010 through diag.
i tell him its not possible, he say yes its possible because you can downgrade the cas through diag.
i say to him go do it and let me know the outcome! now you all know the outcome.

and thats the thing, people search the internet and find part of the story and belief what they read or hear
without any knowledge of they own.

and at the end, there is always someone that do it cheaper!

If km set to down ,cas need put to 0 km 100% (if not red dot up) and then set km in dash.

red dot comes from vin mismatch, if cas and dash not same km car will take reading from highest km module.
