Please can you guide me on how to sort this out
All was working up until Friday when some of my channels stopped working
I bought my technomate last xmas
the guy who gave me the box with nova card said it would allow me to watch these channels (gr + cy)
i do not know what to do to fix this
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks again

i take it this is a official subscription card for these channels
and it was for a 12 months subscription? if some channels are still open
have you tried a re-scan of the receiver so channels could have changed frequencies. next are you useing the card in a cam or the card reader thats
built in the receiver, i ask this because if you have reprogrammed the cam
or changed the patch that could be why you have lost some channels

I think hes on about a gamma card, because the nova channels are called novasports1 cy, novasports2 cy..etc..
Anyway mate, you will need to get out your cas3 programmer and download the latest bin file to it..

Hi,
noobie with a TM3500 USB. I've tried to follow the instructions with no luck.
- I downloaded the 3000_series_05-03-2009.zip and extracted itGuide for the newbies.
Heres how to load the patches.
- Download the relevant patch and extract.
- Download the relevant loader and extract.
- Connect your receiver to the pc via rs232c cable.
- Choose the correct com port.
- Leave the receiver on standby.
- Open the loader and select the software tab.
- Press browse and find the extracted patch.
- Press ok then start then wait.
- I downloaded the 3150_3500_USB_Loader.zip and extracted it
- I connected my PC using a USB2RS232 and serial null modem cable
- I selected the right port (5)
- I opened the loader and selected the software tab
- I pressed browse and found the extracted patch
- I get a message "This file is not a software file, please select another".
- I've redownloaded the patch and an earlier version of the patch and all give the same problem.
- Should the TM3500 be on or off when attempting the upload (tried both)
- Is there any settings required in TM3500 when patching (didn't find any).
Thanks.
Edit. Looks like the Patch was wrong (got that from a friend) and after couple of postings I was able to download the correct one from here. I'm currently attempting to patch the TM.
And the result was that this TM3500 USB PVR model did not need null modem cable, but USB stick upgrade was possible.
