Check the antivirus program you have, including windows defender antivirus and add the file related to vcds to the exceptions.

I have exactly the same cable and works for me among others
I version 23.3.1. I am using VCDS Lodader 9.2. Flash do on 1.96 FW and 0x46 HW version.
However, once showed me an error CAN: in the USB test:
I had a cold connection to 16 pin. pins.

I was about to order a hex v2 cable for my 2018 skoda octavia but now im unsure if cable is worth it due to the amount of uncertainty around the use of these cables.

Ive had volvo vida clone and peugeot planet clones before but there were forums that gave plenty of support, the maij skoda forum does not advocate their use.

Anyone know what is the right cable and if there is a good skoda forum that gives good support

When you buy a clone with 10% price of the original, you don’t need to have a lot of demands.
