    Default MT35e 2.3 Bench Wiring

    Hi All,

Was wondering if some one can tell me the need of the relay in the MT35e wiring diagram? I assume this is as it is in the vehicle, However I'm trying to connect the ecu on the bench. Does one still require the relay?

The pinout I have is as follows:

    1 + 63 - Ground (12V- on Bench?)
    2 + 14 - kl. 30 (12V+ on Bench?)
16 - Main relay control (12V+ on Bench?)
52 - kl. 15 (This one being ignition and before the relay in diagram below, Is this designed to redirect the power away from the relay thus switching off 12V+ to 2+14 & 19 in in diagram below when switched on?)
    11 - CAN-H
    43 - CAN-L
    54 - K-Line

Thanks in advance for your replies.

    Thank you Bllinda

Having got out a relay yesterday and set it up as shown, It appears the relay is not powered until the ignition switch is pressed activating the 12V circuit in the ECU.

Next issue I have is I have a carprog 10.93 clone and I am trying to read a damaged ECU (Pin 16 corroded) to write to a new donor ECU. I have changed a capacitor for a 103 resistor as suggested online in the A1 adapter, But it wont read EEPROM, it reads EEPROM2 hit and miss and won't read flash. I have ordered a new MCP2515 and will replace that when it arrives but does any one have experience with carprog and mt35e they can share with me?
