I have never seen a clone that would not have a serial port interface. Can you post a photo from your setup? You probably are using a USB to RS232 serial port adapter which isn't good (in most cases). If your laptop does not have a serial port, you should use a PCMCIA adapter.

Mates...I will post tonight some photos...I have the multiplexer for about six-seven years.
