    mattydr67 is right
check into about tab if the serial is full registered/ activated.

otherwise the tool will work for several iteration and than will stop to work.

just because the inetrface it was erased because this it hasn't this softwear in blacklist but it is not a serial for that language just for englesh.
I tested it for romanian laguage with 10.6.4 , it's working I mean the interface it wasn't erased but the softwear remain unregistred. It didn't become Full registered/Activated.
    Good luck
    yes full activated

Does the VCDS interface can support another software, e.g. FiatEcuScan or ... ?

M8 it is a dedicated interface.
It dosen't work with other softwears.
For FiatEcuScan you need Vag kkl
Well VCDS has a function OBD II and can connect to OBD II cars and it works like ELM327 OBD II softwears
    You can use it.
    Good luck

I have reflashed VCDS besed on FT232BL with good dump ( it is 908 EN arash) and FT as well. After that VCDS program says that firmware is uknown and needs to be updated. It is really strange because I know dump is fully working and interface should show firmware version etc.I'm wondering if GAL needs to be programmed as well. Has anyone had similiar case?

No m8 but 908 is older and it's asking you to upgrade it.
When you'll do this your tool will be erased again.
I don't know if that dumps are very good for you tool.
Why don't you use the dumps for 11.2 and 10.6.4?
And you'll have the latest softwear of VCDS.
Don't ask me where you can find it because this dumps are for free and you can do a goole serch and for sure you'll find item.
    Good luck

It doesn't matter what dump is used.Everytime VCDS tells that upgrade is needed but update cannot be performed because version is uknown.I changed also dates in PC but the same thing occur.
I suppose it might be problem with GAL which has "previuos" dump or atmega is damage.

Show me a pics with this.
First you must flash FTDI the Atmega with 2 dumps.
One for flash and the other one for EEProm
Then you need the Original installer for the version of the VCDS
    Good luck

I used working dump (flash+eeprom) and suitable ept.
Except that original version of VCDS was used as well.
This what I observe is fact that LED changes colour when I plug USB kable into computer.

try to connect interface to car first , wait 5 seconds , connect it to usb and wait another 5 seconds , and make a test.

if interface has protection chip , desolder it.

if it does not work reprogram Atmega , at end of programming you should get a message saying if Atmega was successfully programmed or not.
