Not at all. O2 don't remove the menu's for the other SIM locks available. You can only access the lock type that has been used by O2.
Virgin remove the unused menu's so you only have one choice.
Just make sure you enter the correct code. After 7 failed attempts most phones permantly lock to the original network.

hi can you tell me how to do it then with the LG t310 cause what ever i do with 2945#*310# the menu lock out with 02.i have,nt even put in any code

i have send a link of my phone if that help what am doing

as you can see i can,t press anything.the menu should be in white

You just have to select each menu option in turn. One of them will ask for code, just enter the code it is asking for.
