    EZSs 705,05,908 orange5 is 100% .
for 912 9s12 rosfer red or r270 is better than orange5.

For secured 912 Orange 5 is wasted money.
    You'd better use:
Xprog-m (the one with correct firmware...this one will not brick flash, by the way it's not problem to find flash for any kind of ezs)...
9x12 tool v1.54 (I use it quite often...especially because of correct backup's...some times I start reading problematic mcu's using it before reading with other one)
R270 - not bad + cheap way to erase 35080/V6/WP/080-160DQ+POSSIBLY READING 908 Moto (not shore but listed)
Smok Jtag prog - works good...sometimes fails .... may be the only mine one...if something goes wrong I use backup (made up with 9x12 tool)
R260 - good but sometimes brick's flash (had spoiled few cas3+ in E71 2013MY)...and also rossfar using it's own binary format (all the dump is reversed (not swapped)...but it's not problem to convert it)
ETL912 -pretty good (but mask list is very poor for presence)...if you don't need anything else besides EZS (with 912 MCU) - it's very good...for older cars you can purchase ETL908 (perfect) and etl705programmer (not used it at all)

But I prefer Xprog (the best one programmer for me (!!!the original one or with updated with correct firmware!!!!)

Good luck.I wish it'll help you to make right choise.

as badik82 said above - R270 is good (Look for posts on how to label wires.).

Whatever you go with, worth testing say on a CAS3 unit off ebay or scrappy.

    Better safe than sorry

Does the orange5 come with a list of processor you can read on board with pin outs, e.g. beetle dashboard to read pin, merc a class older to make keys, avensis key unit. Does it come packed with a big list of pin outs?

    Hello Mate

About ORANGE5, software showing how most EEPROM and MCU are read in-circuit is known as IMMO PLUS HPX and is sold separately. In order words, does not come with the ORANGE5 Programmer. Need to buy it.
