    Ah ye i seen it but thats in the uk and i also have to get a lead and a adapter also so might be better to google starview and see who i can send it back to thanks.

    If your looking for a company named starview mate your gonna have a hard time it doesn't exist these boxes are made all over asia and shipped here so your only hope is the original supplier or the kit Tailor-Made Circuits

    there is no tsop to jtag on to on the s/v 4

    I was looking at the box and the light comes on and off at the back of it were it says "S/PDIF" whats this??

    Presume going by the OP's name and location they are in Dublin. With the premium channels gone to N3 I do not think that the other channels will remain on N2 for much longer, so the SV4 will not be of much use.

    There is a jtag port on the SV4, (not the USB Max232 port), so the Jtag points are already present. It is the type of jtag required that is at question.

    Hi Jok,
    I am afraid mine is a clone with the heatsink visible and I bought mine from these guys http://www.selectronicsonline.co.uk/
    and now there site is closed for a maintenance I think they might have done the deed after floging CLONE BOXES.
    anyway my requestful question is can the clone be fixed with MAX232 from tailor made circuts.
