Hi,

is it possible to upgarde the firmware in China clone cbales?

I have a 8.05, 10.6 and a 12.12 .....

Can´t really make out whether it is possible or not when reading this thread ?!?!?!?!?

Write FLASH and EEPROM from archive or use VAGCOM_EEWrite if you have correct bootloader, install latest vcds of any language of your choice, copy VCDSLoader and enjoy.

What does the correct boot loader mean? In the Flash1.96_HW_0x44.bin and Flash1.96_HW_0x46 firmware, is it correct?

Thank you Kolimer for your amazing work, i tested now loader V2 and it doesn't start on win XP, on win 7 works excellent

All works fine on BM chipset.updated directly from usb conection.works on w7 64bit and XP 32 bit.

is it possible to update China clone cables directly from the USB?

My 12.12 never worked as the CD was empty, so I only had the old 8.05 and 10.6.

Please advice !!!

All works fine on BM chipset.updated directly from usb conection.works on w7 64bit and XP 32 bit.

I couldn't start vcds via loader on XP, english 17.8.0 and danish 17.1.3, just shows splash picture

I does work with BL interface and Windows XP 32-bits. It happend that program didn't want to open up but after replacing loader for new one, everything works OK.
Tested with VCDS 17.8.0 EN

I have a cabel VCDS (china clone) as show on photo. This cabel have pinout inside but i dont know what is what. Pinout is not described. Can you help me how i must connect it to USBasp programmer ?20170816_192649.jpg

you have hardware 44, pinout from left to right 1st picture is : 5V+ GND RST SKC MISO MOSI.
my advice connect programmer on all pins but not 5V and power interface on obd by 12V. Like this programming is more stable.
