If you really love the Reds then your a true fan. It doesn't really matter when you started going to the game or even if you do or don't go, it doesn't make you any less of a fan. It's all about the love and passion you feel for your team.

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

    Default My thoughts.

Lets hope he doesnt play either Poulsen (way too Slow) and Lucas (wouldnt even get into my local team (Dover Athletic))

I can see Meireles and Gerrard being the way to go. Both good tacklers with high workrates. Just need a decent couple of Wingers. Cole is awesome, but need others in backup.

We arent that far off having a decent squad, maybe 3 or 4 world class players, so the likes of Lucas wont even get on the bench.

Ship out the dross, get 2 decent strikers, 2 wingers, and we are laughing.

easier said than done.. we've tried the likes of kewell, riera, him we got from b/ham and probably 1 or 2 more, but think the squad is good enough.(not "matt tho'), pachecho looks good and given time, ngog and nando CAN play together... rome was not built in a day but we conquered it eventually .... TWICE.. and we will again...........

that was a snore fest... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

still top of the group though

Torres looks half hearted, couldn't even be arsed to track back and defend a free kick...

If this is his last season he could undo all the good work he's done and leave with a sour taste if he's not going to try

I know he's scored against West Brom but its his body language, I've seen him in every game he's played at Anfield this season.. he looks dejected and half arsed.. he's still exceptionally skillful, he made both goals last Saturday, but he doesn't look a happy man.. I just think he's had enough of not playing in a winning team, not playing in the CL and not being in a team contending for the title.. when a player plays without a smile on his face its a sure sign he's thinking of leaving...

he looks as if he's going through the motions, but has no soul..

    bad times..

I actually thought he worked harder today than i've seen him all season. There was one incident where Reina was poiinting to cover near the near post and the commentaters made a big deal out of it. I'm not sure he was even talking to Torres (but haven't seen it since, so could be wrong) He should be up on the halfway line awaiting a break and not defending a corner anyway.
There was an incident where he ran back and attacked the striker and won the ball, just like Rushie used to do all those years ago.

Torres does have a marking job from a corner.. he was supposed to be marking the Bulgarian at OT...

I'm not doubting his skill or prowess in front of goal just the fact he doesn't look happy at all.. his facial expressions and body language give the impression of a dejected man...

don't know if he's not happy with football or outside problems, but he doesn't look 100% focused..

i'll stick my neck out here and say he's doing the bare minimum expected, when at first he was everywhere.. look at highlights from he Lpool v Real game he was everywhere..

when he first arrived and after he was like a Terrier, a right handful and a pain in the arse of any defender..

he casts a solemn figure on the field this season

I'll agree with all except him having a marking job. He does stay back but he's a striker and should be upfield waiting for a quick break. As you said, look at the mess of defending he made against Berbatov the other week.
No team should defend with eleven men on a corner IMO

Oh I'm with you there, he should be between the edge of the D and the halfway line to pick up a clearance.. But if he is called back, its not up to him to pick and choose that's all I'm trying to say...

its like an attitude problem almost.. pissed off with something so its affecting him on the pitch..

we've all had days when your job fcuks you off and you get half arsed about it...

more than often though if the feeling stays you look for another job..

i do think this will be his last season, and if we aren't in the top 5 by Jan i think he'll go abroad.. Barca maybe or somewhere in Italy.. I don't think he'll move to another PL club..

That's why i think if we dont get back to the top 4 we'll see a lot go in the summer, especially if the boardroom is stull a joke
