For those still having problems with auto updating...read here

Ok guys and gals...I know some of you are still having problems with the auto updating of your keys.

You will need to be comfortable with ftp'ing files to your dreambox for this to work.

Delete everything in your /keys folder.
Extract the /keys folder from the rar.
Copy the contents of this keys folder to your own keys folder.
Reboot your box.

With any luck...that should be you up and running again.

hi sound like the way forward for me, could you just try explain to me wot is the rar, is it something to do with the link rapidshare.com/files ect and if so how do i use it..

A 'rar' file is a compressed file like a 'zip' file, you can uncompress it and extract the files it contains with winrar, you can fin downloadable versions everywhere but be careful and don't get a cracked version as they can more often than not have a nasty extra file you do not want (been there, done that).

thanks caveman i am a little wiser but i am still not sure how to follow the guide by kaos , i just get lost at the point of extract the/keys folder from the rar.. wot rar, if it is the link to rapidshare i have no idea how to use it, i understand i need to delete existing key files and relace with the ones from the rar file, i just dont no where the rar file is, wow i got so much to learn anyone help, thank all

Rapidshare is a filehosting website.

Click on the link, follow the instructions and download the file.

You will have a keys.rar file on your desktop (or wherever you downloaded it to).

Open the file with winrar, if you have installed winrar it will automatically open it when you double click it.

Drag the keys folder to your desktop. The contents are now extracted from the rar.

Problems

I lost most of my channels tonight and looking at the forum I get the feeling the only people who are getting problems are the ones who couldn't get the fix working last week.I applied the fix last week and it all went just fine until tonight.
I have remembered to check my camd_cfg file and mg_cfg file.
I still haven't been able to figure out which image I am running.
I have tried FTPing the keys file that was recently posted and no success.
