I.e I'm guessing you wont leave it that easy to crack again?
remember in database your password is hashed and salted with vbulletin,, decent computers will brute force a simple password from a dictionary attack very very quickly.
have passwords like you describe and it would take them years to bruteforce it. and then tough shit you changed it again because forum makes you change it every 60 days.

If you have the hash and salt, you wouldnt test the logins with the forum , a password cracker would do that.
5 guesses stops people trying to basically guess your password

Well i wound't be too worried about it.

I haven't subscribed to DK, now Admin or a Mod has changed my Avatair to a slug and provided me with a modifyed siggy.

I *WILL* pay to this BRILLIANT site, just if somebody wishes to call one of them HORRID 0845 numbers to activate this card that STILL doesn't have M-H-M on it, feel free!.

A strange this happened with this forum today. I came on to check out new posts in the Nintendo Wii section. I was making a comment in a thread and I click on preview and a big orange message popped up saying Your account has been suspended.

I clicked on the forum again and that all I saw, I managed to log out and I deleted the cookies in Ccleaner. I clicked on the site again but the big orange message was still there. I checked my emails to see why there was this warning but nothing showed up from here.

I did a Malwarebytes scan but nothing showed up. I came on the site later with my desktop computer and everything looked ok. I've just come back on with my laptop logged in and its appears to work at the moment. I've now made the comment that I started to make this morning.
