Logged Off From The Forum

Hi

I have just noticed since the forum has been updated there have been one problem, is that if you don't brows the forum for say 20 or 30 min it will log off you automatically............

I don't know if any one of you experiencing this problem...........?

No problems here, just set the 'always login' checkmark.
Then windows will automatic login again when you browse again after a while.

ASHRAF MATE, WHAT IS HAPPENING BECAUSE YOU HAVED JOINED SOME KIND OF INFERIOR WEBSITE THE DK SERVER HAVING A MARDY ON WITH YOU - THIS IS WHY IT DROPS OFF.

TO PROVE A POINT SEND AN EMAIL TO ANY INFERIOR WEBSITES YOU BELONG TO ASKING FOR THEM TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT AND BAN YOUR IP ADDRESS THIS WILL SORT THE PROBLEM OUT

I've been working my a$$ off trying to figure this out....
all i have to do is
1 join an inferior website
2 close the account...
It has to be a specific website or i got to choose one myself

well all you need to do is post in ALL INFERIOR websites you belong to how pants there are and DK is SUPERIOR and ask for a permant bann - that should if not WILL sort out any DK related problems

Strange this one. I am only a member the DK. Not on any other forum although I have had a look through the Peugeot one. Not very good i must add.. good to know anyway. Though it was the site having problems

I'll check things out, hopefully will be sorted soon.

I've not experienced this myself so it's hard to replicated.

One thing to clarify, are you leaving DK and browsing other sites then coming back to DK, in the same browser tab? Or are you keeping DK open in the tab and you're just inactive for a while, then when you return and continue to browse, that's when you're logged off?

well with me its erratic, sometimes it logs me off after 10 mins, sometimes its 20, sometimes longer, then sometimes it just dont bother , im not browsing sites ( shame on you df for thinking such a thing ) then coming back to dk, its weird ive been browsing one of the forums then come back to the sb, within a few mins its logged me off, this isnt regular, as ive said it seems erratic to me.

I've experienced same problem of continually needing to log in since the upgrade.. With the old version, I'd log in once.. and that would be me for all day...

I'm on another forum.. same version of vb as here.. what I've noticed is that when I'm logged into the MCP, I'm not kicked out.. and able to stay logged in. ... this may be why you're not experiencing or maybe it doesn't apply to Admin. Emmm

I'm using an old version of firefox (10.0.2) and I've not been logged off once.

Using ie 7 with no add ons on win xp not had to log in - only after clearing cache & cookies

not had to log back in on iphone
