i have tried to unlock/renew a bmw remote key with part number 5wk49121 PCF7944A/42A
and had no luck, came across a page here with pdf file explaining the issue but couldnt open it yet as per access restrictions. hopefuly will get there soon. this site looks pretty informative i am glad i have found it.
