My nick is a pun on language and a common surname where I am -- I have different screen names for my different hobbies and interests so my worlds hopefully collide
Either way, I have a hobbyist in electronics (arduino, raspberry and similar with an assortment of other tools) that also does car stuff.
One of my favourite hacks of recent years is desoldering a car radio EEPROM to get the unlock code. That car has found a new home since, but I now sit with a small collection of oldish cars that need love and manufacturer specific software to maintain that is more detailed than a simple OBD2 dongle and phone. I do enjoy getting an auction vehicle for cheap and getting them to great shape for little money.
