Hi, my daughter has just bought a 2006 micra. First car and I'm the one tasked to keep it going. Bad leak in the boot, which we then found was from a tail ender, so sealed the joints and now its as dry as a bone. Second item that has gone is the front wiper mech. bought a new set from ebay and the long rod just will not clip on, so used the vice to try and clip it in and yes the plastic clips split. The short arm not a problem, but it looks like that is the one that fails and falls off. She only got one key, so I'm now trying to find out how to programme new keys, not much success so far.
