Hi, I'm a newby on here, looking for info on Merc Vito W639 not communicating with diagnostics & no crank. The EIS and ESL were both faulty and have been changed, as has the ECU, all from one vehicle of the same model etc. but different ECU no. Ignition now comes on (this was the original failure - ignition fob not turning and therefore no ignition and steering lock not coming off). Ignition is now on, steering lock works, but no crank or any sign of it trying and unable to communicate with the ECU with Autocom diagnostics (laptop communicates with autocom, but not with the van!). Any ideas, or will I have to find another set of ECU, ESL and EIS with the same number (virtually impossible it seems)? Thanks in advance.
