Hello friends, long story short, I bought an old Matco Determinator scan tool. Its basically an OTC Genisys with a MATCO logo. I was looking around the internet and found this old dated forum with the hopes someone could point me in the direction of anyone who may be able to get this scanner working. I am willing to send this unit and pay someone to get it running. Even if if I can use it for older vehicles, I would be happy. The reason, well when I bought this Matco tool, it came with a MATCO cart specifically built just for this tool. The cart is cool and I would like to put the scanner to use. It came with the lower unit with spark plug probe and other acessories. Heck, even if I can use this tool to check a vehicles' RPM, I would be happy. The tool turns on and a 2.0 screen comes up but after that its just a dead blue screen.
