Good morning, it is Nadia (username Flamenca008) here. My husband Has a 2019 Dacia MCW logan estate. It has been running efficiently and we have been faithfully adding a pure ADBLUE additive every 4 weeks and ensuring that it is full. The car has been checked out by 3 garages , and a previous service light fault fixed once the car was fully serviced. It was mentioned during the service that the original oil was thick, black and it looked like the oil filter and oil had never previously been replaced. The car when collected from the garage after the service, was driving perfectly but i was aware that the ADblue light was on, i pulled and checked the adblue and it was full. Tried to reset it to no avail and had to drive home. so by the time i was driving to our village in Dumfries and Galloway area, it had gone down to a few miles countdown and the Adblue light was flashing, i got home parked it and switched it off. i was sure it was sitting at 2 or 3 miles when i switched it off. the next day , we tried to start the car and it would not start showing the ADblue light and another flashing. I called the AA recovery out on the same day, and he was extremely unhelpful, did not even try and complete any diagnostics using any tools , nor did he look under the bonnet or at the adblue area. He just asked which garage we are with and left without telling me we have recovery. My concern is we still do not know if it is just an adblue sensor or system fault or if it is a part fault as i am aware that the injector parts can be up to £500 plus vat. we have a full engine and mechanical warranty with Momentum (glasgow) as this car is on car finance, but they are not covering the cost of the diagnostics or repair ,as we have been faithfully waiting for a new headlight as this one on the car when bought is not bright enough so the car cannot be driven at night anyway (previously). we have previously had to reject a diesel peugeot and that was a nightmare of 3 years, as we believe that this fault can be one of 4 items, and we would need get the car reovered by the AA possbily to a Renault Dacia arnold clark garage who may have the correct diagnostic machine but i am also aware that we need to let the garage and the car finance company know (the finace is v12 moneyway who have always been very helpful with us) but we need to know what we should do or if there is anything we can do to get the right diagnostics while the car is parked outside our house as a non starter , any advicce would be gratefully appreciated! thank you.
