Volvo S40 Cem 9S12XDT256 Eeprom crc problem

Hi,
I'm having a little problem programming a 9S12XDT256 eeprom.
In this eeprom is stored the code of the remote controls, and I want to insert a remote control from another read eeprom into it, but when I modify the data, it always resets the whole part where the remote controls are.
The problem is that I don't know how to calculate the crc.
Please help me.
