Hey im new, hers a littel about me

I just joined and wanted to introduce myself a little since I need to make a post before I can download anything.
I'm currently looking for software updates for a MaxScan VAG 405 that I got from my late grandfather after he passed away back in 2017. It had just been lying around until recently when my car went into emergency mode after a service. The check engine light came on, and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. So, I decided to dig up the old VAG 405 and try to diagnose the issue, but it wouldn’t read my car (a 2016 Seat Ibiza).
I took another look under the hood and noticed a loose vacuum hose, which I plugged back in—problem solved! But now, I want to get the old VAG scanner updated, and that’s how I stumbled upon this site. I must say, besides the software update for my VAG, I also have high hopes for any future issues I may encounter.
