I just bought a Highlander 2003 3.0L 1MZ-FE and I'm seeking a virgin ECU file for it to re-train the keys.
Currently has 4 keys registered, I only have 2 which don't work, active immobilizer.
Current ECU shows the following codes:
p0748 p0778 p2716 p0513
I'm hoping the ECU is the root cause and I ordered a used ECU on ebay. The seller said several mechanics checked it and confirmed a bad ECM. I should know when I hook up the used ECU even before the keys get entered I can read the codes.
Could you please share any info on ECU reading / Key reading or resets for 2003 Highlander 3.0l and any virgin files for the ECU I could use?
