Hello, Yamaha Tenere 2020 Mileage Correction Programmer( renesas R5F10DMFJ )

Hi all,

I don't currently have any equipment to read this chip but just looking to do a one off change on my own bike after I've swap the engine.

Can anyone recommend a cheap setup to read read / write this chip? Bonus points if there is no soldering required.

I've found someone has kindly provided the pinout so it looks like it can be done in circuit.

I also have the algorithm for Yamaha. Mileage * 10 -> hex is least significant byte order and 32 bit wide -> check sum is a sum of the bytes, also 32 bits wide

So I just need a way to read and write the chip now, any suggestions greatly welcome

I've gone for an offical Renesas e2 programmer which should do me for this one-off.

I was trying to buy an orange5 but couldn't figure out if any of them came with the correct software / licence for renesas RL78
