I’m currently learning about ECU tuning and engine mapping, focusing on VW / Audi MQB platform vehicles.
My goal is to understand how engine control units work, how maps for torque, boost, fuel injection, and ignition are structured,
and to practice in a safe, educational environment.
I own a VW Jetta GLI 2020 and want to study using original ECU files in WinOLS Demo.
I’m not planning to flash any live vehicle without proper knowledge or supervision.
Any guidance, links to original ECU files for educational purposes, or tips to get started with EA888 mapping would be greatly appreciated.
