I'm a hardcore car enthusiast and over 40 years of wrenching. As always, you need to learn new skills and try to keep up with the technology development. I started in the late 70's. First some Fiats, Datsuns, Opels, VWs and later Jags, MBs and so on. ECUs/ECMs came into picture in early 90's. Some of you have soldered an ALDL interface, as did I. I've soldered and installed a bunch Megasquirts. Many years and interfaces later, a courier drop me a KESS and a K-TAG. My first K-TAG attept is to clone an EDC16C39 and therefore I registered to this forum.
