Hi everybody!
Obviously I am new to this place, otherwise I won't be posting this one, right? As you can see above - I'm from Kenya. (well, originally I'm from Germany, but got naturalized to be a Kenyan citizen in 2006...). I hope some people here can help me with some technical problems - and maybe I can even help someone here too. Just for a quick overview:
I have been to Kenya for 28 years now, working along the north coast as an IT hardware technician and consultant. I am a trained Mechanik for Communications Equipment, specialized in IT, as well as an Electronics Technician for Information-Processing Devices. I received my professional trainings at the Technical University in Berlin from 1982 to 1986 and got my Certification with the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce that same year.
I was then working in workspace preparation, programming of an automatic circuit board assembly machine, and finally quality control with a small company called 'Computec', producing the first 9600 Baud modem that was approved and certified for use in Germany. After 6 years I joined Rank Xerox GmbH in Berlin and worked as a customer service technician with them until we (my dearest and I) moved to Kenya in 1997.
I think this should be enough for now.
