My name is Bruce and I am writing from Spain.
I am an electronics enthusiast starting my journey in ECU repair and automotive electronics. I have built a small home lab with some tools (CH341A programmer, soldering station, logic analyzer, etc.) and I am currently practicing with some scrap ECUs from the junkyard to learn the basics.
Right now, my main goal is to understand how EEPROMs work, how to read/write them properly, and how to perform basic tasks like IMMO OFF on older ECUs (like the Lucas DCN2 I'm currently working on).
I hope to learn a lot from this great community and, in the future, be able to help others as well.
