As you see in the list many modells done under another car. Be careful if you don't familiar with the brand/cars relations


- Never delete the old sw versions, mostly older is better
- the update policy is a total mess
- it seems the x100pro is a discounted product

obdstar x300m is new version of x100 pro. And with new software version the panamera also didn't work anymore with x300m.

(I did the exact same car many times before with same x300m but with older software version, then it work with no problem. now new software don't work..)

i think they are totally f***ed thier reputation. I can work with my x100pro (with the old sw) but i'll never buy an anothor obdstar product. The don't respect their customers even at "chinese level"

The same issue in X300 DP, the new software doesnt work, X100 pro work without problem in old software, I have changed the microsd of my x100 to 8G and I dont delete the old software when I upgrade,

And because my x300 DP is new, the software installed in pad is new and some are not connecting to car. Bad update of the tools.....

There will be no solution, i contacted OBDSTAR today, first they never heard about a 3 years free update for X100PRO ( i proved it with a copy of my order), then they say the porsche cayenne is not supported ( i made 6 of them because they where in my list), (with the new updates it doesn't work anymore) and they say don't use the updates, download the old updates from the OBDSTAR website. hahahah i know enough I told them thanks for you ''help''. They say your are welcome (what a company!)

Before updating save ur sd card and then go for update if the new version did not work u can use the old saved software again.....................simple....:)

Not possible, so you might have to wait for a fixed version.
And if the update server is down again, and you would press format first, you have no software at all.
This happend earlier this year, for a 2 week period.
So backing up any earlier version is very wise.


Skp900, they pulled the plug, and started something new.
Obdstar does this to in some ways.
So i just bought the X300DP.

I was able to install 1 older (and a newer) update on my x300m.

i try change mileage of porsche Panamera before with 30.24, it didnt work. then i try 30.21 with my x100pro, it did work!.
now I installed 30.23.. hope this one works also..

And a tip: always click on 'savely remove hardware' button for usb stick. if you don't you might loose all data on sd (or better: just backup files from sd!)

Try to reset your dash with pull off the + on the batery terminal, after make this changes.

3. Change the mileage in the instrument panel (without connecting to the car)
4. Connect the instrument panel to the car
5. Turn the ignition on and enjoy the new run.

Last update i Did was Maybe 6 months ago and i am not going to update it.
Its ok for Some cars like Mazda, range rover and Some american brands.

No product tracking...etc no clear pruduct separation.. they asking money after 1 year. For downgrade.

not possible with obdstar x300m or x100 pro.

you already made an topic for which tools it can do....
and you could have simply checked the obdstar website and see this car is not even listed!

as shown in the other topic. only expensive cars can do this car. just invest some money dude..

Tried a 2015 Ford edge again , this time used the SPC5645S option and it shows invalid key error 35. I have tried every damn software version. Does this cluster not have that chip? Is it something totally different. I know the 2016 can be done. This is the cluster with the two small screens flanking the speedo.

It has two small screens on both sides of the Center speedo. I pick the SPC5645S+93C86 choice and i get an error 35 invalid key and when I pick double color meter, I get security fail. I basically tried all methods. What am I doing wrong?
