    Is i t possible to edit DM600 read only file?

    Hi, wonder if anyone can advise me if it is possible to edit dm600 read only files like DM500???

    what u wanna edit ? the 600 isnt like a 500 most if not all files can be easily replaced/modded (including enigma itself )

        again i ask what do u want to edit ?
        it can be as simple as ftp'ing your modded file over or you may even need to kill a process before u can change a setting/file, theres no real tut as such be more specific and im sure youl get what u want

            bootlogo little harder to do but not impossible but for now try to get a grib of ftp

            smart ftp/cuteftp or firefox ftp addon what ever your comfy with
            cables.xml goes in /etc
            cams go in /usr/bin chmod 755
            depending on which image u crurrently have u may have to edit/make a script for your emu to show in the blue button menu otherwise u will have to telnet in to start/stop (which i do recomend u try to get a better understanding of how stuff works)
            take a look at /usr/scripts for a example emu script
