    DreamBox 500c channel issues

    Hello All,

    I hope someone can help?

I have had a Dream-Box 500c for about a year and have been running on DW v1.6.5 (old i know), which has been great up until a week ago when all of the none free-view channels are now displaying a blank black screen. the SNR is about 95% and i have just flashed with Dream Up via null modem the new DW V2.0 modded, but still i can only see the Free-view channels (and yes i have unticked the free option on scanning). Does any one no of any issues in Bristol (virgin) area?
I have completely re wired the coax and connectors TNA still getting around 95% SNR????

    Please help

    Cheers

For some reason there seems to be an issue with some people when they flash the new image, you are not the only one. Try what is in the thread below to see if that helps resolve it.

Ok guys and gals...I know some of you are still having problems with the auto updating of your keys. You will need to be comfortable with ftp'ing files to your dreambox for this to work. Delete everything in your /keys folder. Extract the /keys folder from the rar. Copy the contents of this keys folder to your own keys

right ive seen too many people thinking that they need to add a new image, nothing is further from the truth, you only need to add the new fix file to your old image. now im presuming that some people might find the idea of flash fxp (ftp) a bit daunting if they have not used it before so heres a little help. this is based

      read up on this bud

        @ Jaba101

Make sure your cam is set to Evocam or mgcamd mate, others will not work.

Mate, can u get Gbox to decode with the new roms?

I only tried it with Rom7 but it failed.
