Messed up Dream Box

Hi, I think I have messed up my deram box 500c I no longer get the intro screen when I switch on. Can someone please tell me if there is a way to re-install the Dream Worldz Dream 1.6.5. Many Thanks in advance.

You can reflash the image using Dreamup and a null modem cable.

Hi, Have just managed to get my dreambox working, booting up and it has found the channels, however even though I have updated the key file using nagram7 as I did with my mates, whose box had version 1.6.5 Dreamworldz and his worked mine has not. What do I need to do please. Many Thanks in advance.

Make sure the auto update is set to { 02 }.

If you edit any cfg file, restart the emu or reboot the box using the shutdown menu.

Hi Kaos, thanks for all your help so far but I am still having problems, I have done what you said regarding the other nagracom files and the auto to 02 but still no joy with the decoding of channels. Any other ideas would be most appreciated. By the way, if I was to save the image of my mates box and then install it on mine would this solve my problem. Again many thanks in advance.

Or you could grab the keys folder from here and try that.

The backup will work - is your mate in the same area ??
Also sometimes they do take a min or two to kick in - have you left it on an encrypted channel to build the keys up ??

Thanks for all your advice i did the back up from my mates box & it worked
all we had to do then was to add the keys once again manny thanks

Add the keys file?or manually add the keys.
