    can i get tv through my broadband cable

    If i have cable broadband will i be able to use same line to receive tv through dreambox.Cheers ripmaster

      Nice one thanx for the quick reply would it affect my broadband if i connect a splitter and would i have to buy a booster signal box

        no mate as long as you buy a 2 way splitter so the broadband signal go backwards and forwards through it as some splitter only allow traffic one way

                DK1.1 or a nabilosat image are my favourites.

                use dreamup m8, flashwizard pro is poor and fails a lot of the time

                      don't forget to buy a crossover cable, I would also recommend having a null modem cable as well mate its a life saver... if you do not have a serial port (rs232) connection on your laptop or PC then you will also need a USB to serial adapter so that you can use a null modem cable...

                        yep ordered a null cable already do i have to do anything else other than flash the box to receive all channels and is the crossover an ethernet cable

                          you will need to add the roms when you get your box.. A crossover cable is a typoe of ethernet cable that allows you to connect your box direct to your pc without having to user a router
