The document assume that we are still able to communicate with the box and access the interactive menu. However, in this case we are unable to boot up the device. The two obvious comms ports are usb and ip network both requires the system to be in running condition. Both USB has no 5 volt signal, confirms that it is not even turn on by the motherboard... IP network card does not register itself with the router thus both comms are down.

My guess the only way is to open up the setup box and connect to the motherboard and flash the chip ...

In case there is something that I am not aware about, feel free to comment else hope this will help those who are following the thread. It is a pain in the a**. Adding insult to injury.

I exchanging it with the supplier .... knowing that it will happen again but hopefully it is in distant future ... those who are evaluating this, dun come near.

For those caught with this shit may want to consider these... (let share note on what works)
    1. Maybe a surge protector may help ?!? or
    2. better ventilation ?!?

This is an entertainment box, yet I feel like work .. haiz..
Two weeks still no resolution .... sucks. On a fair note, not sure if it is the agent issue or the manufacturer issue. ........waiting .... waiting ......

        Hi guys,

I am very new here. Never post before. I hope I am doing the right step.

I have the problem on my FY HD800-C. When I power on the device.

        1. the green power light on.
        2. but No video output.
        3. No 'Boot' message that was seen in previous power up.

How do I go about after being permitted to download the firmware?

Anyone of you bros, please help.

Hi, I have this box also and has the same fault as yours, try this:
disconnect every cable and power for few days then turn it on, if cannot wait for few day and try again ,do the same thing until it boot, if works remember not to off it again or else it will be the same as before. It work for me!!! From what i guess it might be the boot up power capacitor is faulty, we can do anything about it, that is beyond our knowledge unless you are electronically train. Hope you can solve it.
