I noticed that the dm800hd has a GP3 vs the dm800se has GP2. Whats the difference in these two? I was searching all over and there is not much info on the different GP.

Can only view FTA channels

I just received my DM800HD box. I flashed it with the SG-OpenPli image and it worked. But I can only see FTA channels. Can anyone guide me how I can view other channels?

HEY Brother ! You forgotten to backup your magical keys also AKA(Also knowns as) the Autoroll keys. in the folders. Before YOU FLASH U must backup.

Incase if you not sure what to do. Read this forum. They tell u backup keys b4 flashing backup bouquest before updating the newest one

Bro i need some help . I am using 500c \. Now this new 800hdse is giving me problem. The scce folder izzit consist of autoroll.key and softcam keys? And the key folder is just mg_cfg and SoftCam rite? I abit confuse now. need some guidance over here.

Are u refering to post #39 by master YPVS?
It means that this image or firmware is meant for DM800HD series only not for SE series.
No u can't use SG-Dream Elite V3.0-(010r5)-dm800-SSL-84b.nfi to a 800SE box.

any different if I want SGNewnigma2 V3.3.2-dm800se.nfi

The reason I ask is because I want to know if any has tried the two images and can provide the differences. Recently after I flash using Dreamelite software the pictures sometimes freeze or jerk a bit.

it shows some "engima" word below, only shows some fujian or shanghai epg that won't have data at all...

what do i do? i try to use dreamup, flashwizard pro6.4, all won't work. is my connection wrong?

i have a dtech rs232 to usb cable, my fibre optic lan plugged in, both to reciever, together with the normal AV cable, and SCV cable.

fibre optic lan runs to my router.. from router,, another lan cable into my laptop. and the rs232 cable with the usb plugged into the laptop.

now what?
how do i "erase" what was in the box, to our SG channels? then, this engima, is some sorta OS? I downloaded the Jade Pli u guys posted, but i can't seem to run it. file too big it says.

DM528s is a satellite reciever bro my advise is to exchange it to DM500C no point if u use this in SG as what we're discussing in this forum is Cable

No one can tell u what's best & what difference for different images or firmware u have to try it yourself to suits your need or install plugin for what u need
