            As Satsmo said: its not n3 yet. If it was no box would work.

            For the n2 it would appear that knowing the keys might not be enough for the dm500 to work. The image would need some serious alterations.

            On the bright side the channels might remain on n2 rather than the impregnable n3. In this case a kryptview type fix could surface.

                Why would they not go striaght to nagra 3? Are they worried about hardware compatability or something?
                Just can't understand why they would go 1-2-3 and not just 1-3?

                    some of the old pace boxes arnt working so there havin to send new boxes out , and they dont like that ,, these cable companys cant afford this..

                    hope this might put them off doing it england

                                well, the way i see it is that we all enjoyed those years of free tv. Now with the recesion and all will be harder to pay for tv. I still have loads of films and series at home to watch, so if they cut everything in July i'll start watching them. Football and sports will be a big loss, will have to subscribe or go to the pub and socialise
                                At least now i'll have a excuse of going out and get my ass off the cauch!

                                        to a large extent you have missed the boat there was a fix for n2 but now ntl have moved to n3 do a search for the irish fix
                                        install this on your box and you will get all but movies,sport and some kids channels sorry but that is as good as it gets
