Hi Guys back again,
I got my 500c today from DVBMonkey but the power adapter does,nt work.
So i found an adapter from an old router and it fits ok.I flashed a working image I found on the net and got it working using the instructions on this thread and this fourm.If I want to replace the image with the Digital kaos one do I press flash erase on the Dreamup program or just Flash.I have;nt got around to the fpt bit yet thats why I used a working image,but I plan to do it when I get a crossover cable.

can anybody help me, ive recently purchased a dreambox dm500c, ive attempted to connect to my cable provider but channels are locked apart from terrestrial channels, by the way im a novis when it comes to this.

need help.....for backup image file...

hi ..i made a backup by Dreamup saved it ,when i try to load backup -by clicking Flash ,its not there for selection to chose from the folder. saved.why?its not saved like Image file..how i can change that saved folder to image file.
in my Dreamup select image to flash window :file name box:nothing to select.
Files of type: Dreabox Flash images {..bin.img}.

hi ya pal! i dint know u can get a cable dreambox??? i tuaght it was only for them big dishes that pick up nearly all the channels in the world.. but if thre is adream box for virg*n then i think i shud get one is there no defrence between eurovox starview??? and the dreambox thanx mate

hi guys, i have a dm 500-c cable box but i use a laptop to connect it via a null cable that has a usb converter on it as my laptop has no 9 pin serial port, when i run the dreamup software it cannot detect the box?

any ideas how to flash it?
