I ALSO GET LIVE EVENTS CHANNEL THAT ONLY SHOWS A STATIC PICTURE.MANUAL SCAN LOOKS THE BEST WAY GOING BY WHAT I'V READ BUT WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE MY IMAGE, JUST THAT I LIKE THE SETUP SAME AS D BOX

Hi guys
Could some one please confirm the info on page 1 is still correct ?
I am in ex C&W and last time i just added the info to bouquet restart box and job done, it has been a while since i did it but not having any luck this time. Any help would be very gratfull i would hate for my son to miss the royal rumble.

Just look in your "all services" list (Ok -> Red). Search for the channel listed as "PPV Events" select it because that is it.

I have the ppv channel but just a black screen atm

When was the last time you rescanned?

As you can see from the screenshot, there can be more than one "PPV Events" listed. On my box, one is blank, the other, PPV Events (Close), is currently showing the WWF Royal Rumble preview show on a loop.

Dreambox Bouquets

You need to edit the userbouquet file in /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable. You'll need to open them up with wordpad one by one and it will give the name of the bouquet at the top, i.e. Sport, Movies, etc. You're obviously looking for the Adult one. Copy and paste that info into the bottom of the file, save and ftp back to box.

Unplug the box from the mains, give it a min and plug back in.

Just checked that link, I'm not bothered about those channels but I just set my box up tonight and seem to be missing a few services. For example in sports I have sky sports 1 & 3 but not 2, for movies I only have sky screen 1 & 2 so i'm missing the premiere channels also I've not seen sky 1,2 or 3 but I have all the mtv channels these are just the channels I've noticed + comedy central+1 is missing.

My area is N.london/ e ast london is close to me to though, hackney, enfield is closest.
I've run a couple auto searches not sure what I'm doing tho :facepalm: Any help would be great aswell as advice on how to peromf proper searches to find all channels in 1 go. I see alot of test streams, FLASH channels, bt service aswell as some random sid3773865 numbered ones (not that number just an example).

try using the bruteforce scan. this picked up channels for me that my local area search missed.
as for the ppv, mine is still working from a while back

Cheers, did a bruteforce and it filled in all the gaps, just missing 2 channels E! entertainment and sky1. *Scratches head*

I bet you're missing more you don't know about.

There are very rarely two channels on a transponder and you have to be missing an entire transponder to be missing any channels at all.

If you have any SIDXXXX channels if you select them (even if they are blank) and leave it on that channel for a few minutes and then look again at the list they should be removed and other channels appear in their places.
