    DM500 Help Please

    I have a DM500C, I did work but a few months ago it stopped. I have done some research into it and have tried some of the fixes on this and others, but am still struggling. can anyone please help.
    -I get a signal strength is 95-96%+
    -All the channels are there but I only get a blank screen
    -I can only view the basic channels 1,2,3 etc
    -I have tried a booster but it did not work (although I did borrow it form a mate and it was for TV)
    -I have tried different images (I have always erased the old ones)

    Any help please?

      Sounds like your keys are not auto updating.

      Have a read at this thread and following the instructions...

      Ok guys and gals...I know some of you are still having problems with the auto updating of your keys. You will need to be comfortable with ftp'ing files to your dreambox for this to work. Delete everything in your /keys folder. Extract the /keys folder from the rar. Copy the contents of this keys folder to your own keys


      That should get you sorted.

          Sorry for the delay in replying back, have been moving house.
          Any how, I have downloaded the key but am still new to all this, i don't know where to find the folder i need to delete and replace, can you help some more please?
          also i am using Digital Worldz v2.0 (I think)

              open the downloaded rar file then you will see a file named keys
              you will have to set up a ftp programe connected to your dreambox

              once connected go into /var/keys and delete the key folder and replace with the one
              dm800-s=1.1 m triax motorised dish=titanium twin lnb

                  FTP to your box using Flashfxp or whatever one you like.

                  go to the var folder.

                  in there is the keys folder, delete it and replace with new one, if there is no keys folder , still put your new one in.

                              and yes you can add keys by remote control, but you wont get the keys off here, we dont allow people to post keys on here.

                              you can get the AU files and FTP them to your box.
