Blue button should bring it up at the top of the screen scroll left or right to select cam.

You will have to edit the cardserver.config file as well. var/tuxbox/config

for wat ur doin the gem image is a good start
as dan said wen u have newcamd installed ftp to box var/tux/config right click on cardserver and edit this is wat ur lookin for

# Boxkey (for Nagra1 cards only) (L)
# 8 byte des boxkey of your nagra smartcard. This boxkey is needed for proper
# use of your card, otherwise you'll get incorrect control words
# BOXKEY = 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

edit it with ur boxkey

if its on ur dm600 newcamd cant handle 2 services ie: watchin 1 channel and rec another on same transponder, so id suggest put in evocamd wit ur keys as well and that will let u rec 1 and watch another and if there is a hit switch to newcamd
newcamd alone works good on a dm500

hmm im having problems locating the newcamd cardserver.cfg file, ive got a feeling newcamd isnt installing correctly. Downloaded newcamd 6.10 from the gemini server but the cardserver.cfg file isnt anywhere. I am using a multiboot with barryallen the gemini image is on the HDD

Despan i beleive you are using barry on your machine?

i think the main problem is i am not sure if the image is ok, got it off bigmac. As i dont have a subbed cc box to try it on im kinda stabbing in the dark so to speak .

new to this area also moved from nthell to telepest so makes it even more tricky

What box are you using? what image is on the box?
when you downloaded did you do it thru addons?
if you did you downloaded newcamd? did you then download newcamd.config from cam config section?
what files have you in the var/tuxbox/config? folder please list

do mosc exactly the same as u would for subbed one m8

all we do wit the dream is get it to read the card like a subbed box ;-)

Starting to think its an image issue, will have to keep searching for a tw rom11, but they hard to find

the newcamd folder should be in var/tuxbox/config m8

image from BigM should be ok, did u ask on WM for one ?

jade in flash is probably the problem, gemini is only image i got newcamd workin good on
