dream up flashing problem

just to let everyone know its an enigma image that was on it already when i bought it ...strange that i have missing folders any ideas what to try next

i did a search for lock bits , theres a few threads on this prob. have a look at this one m8.

Dreamup D500s not responding

I have got a similiar problem with Dreamup, tried to flash a Dreambox 500 with DCC and I probably destroyed the original image. I lost the IP address and I am trying to connect to D500s with Dreamup V2..41, and V2.18A, both showing the samte problem. I connect the Null modem cable, press connect , ask me to start the box and then I go message "Got sequence, starting upload" and then nothing happens can anyone help ? Would it be time to use the Jtag approach ?

i had similar problem, tried to flash with dreamup but kept on saying "connection prepared, now switch on the dreambox", i was on verge of sending it back, until i tried it with 'flashwizard pro' which flashed dk image successfully.
