Looks quality! just what i need to get started! I dont know a great deal about these boxes but heard a whispa that virgin have changed/changing their encryption so the boxs wont work. please tell me this isn't true or that there is a software fix for this problem. cheers!

DREAM BOX 500c DVB

Hi all,

My problem is that my dm500c does not work anymore for Swiss cable and I am not getting all the channels. I would like to get the same channels as before but don't know how to get them.

Nobody is frustrated as I am, all of my channels dissapeared and I hardly can see everything I used to watch, I know there is changes but someone has got the answer to unblock and get access to the channels as before. Any idea please let us know, any software updates key changes or anything to get it done.

I joined as a complete novice to research and have a go - just ordered an openmedia 500cs hence interested in the 500 guide

For cable you should use DK v1.1 Image, nice Image easy to use, it?s in the download section, that?s one I?m using at the moment.

I’m using DK v1.1 for cable and DarkStar 2 for sat, they are both doing a good job with DM500.

Good evening gents, Just wondering if theres anything that can be done to update my dream box 500c? i flashed it as per the noobs guide but around 4 months ago or so all the channels stopped working.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

You are not the only 1 m8, N3 (the new encryption) has no fix, until there is a fix you will not be able to watch free cable.
