It makes you wonder why VM have not hit the boxes yet, with the way things are with most forums it would put a lot of d/dream boxes and the rest out of action for most ppl, i think they may be thinking if they hit the boxes they may loose a lot of ppl who pay for at least the min package to sky or more so to the new freesat imho.

thats probably exactly why, either that or their waiting for next season on the footie LOL, although some forums are opening their cable sections back up without the upload of au fixes and key being posted which is great.

The 'fixes' if required will most likely filter thru,albeit take a bit longer.Reading threads on many forums fom the last hit,theres only a few people able to fix these problems with ease.

i only ask cause the oly reason i have a dm 500c is because freeview is rubbish in my area. n i have full package downstairs....

its just annoying they wanted an etra ?30 or so a month for another box :S

but if the dm goes down again... im thinking of getting sat for a one off fee of ?75 i saw in asda the other day inc instalation

The short answer is: at the moment, no. I just don't have the experience with this platform to really "fix" black box ROMs and cam daemons without source. I will however lend any help I can if or when we hit a new bad patch.
