DM800 Please help it says "Service Unavailable, Check Tuner Configurations!"

I have this problem where it says "Service Unavailable, Check Tuner Configurations!

Do an auto scan or download any bouquet for SG and transfer the files using dreamboxedit. The image that u have flashed is for cable based in uk.

Thanks a lot for your response, i have since changed my flash image to an Open PLI image(Open+Pli+2.1-dm800-SSL-84b.nfi), i have also FTP'ed the E2 SG Bouquet(Bouquet16062014) that you've uploaded at the Downloads section

BUT

When i try to go at the Automatic Scan it says "Nothing to Scan! Please setup your Tuner Settings before you start a service scan" Here's an image

after which i have proceeded to go to the tuner settings but it says "Zap back to service before tuner setup"

and i'm back at square 1 where my problem still persist with the "Service Unavailable, Check Tuner Configurations!"




is it possible that i FTP wrongly? because i followed the tutorial video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlIGkaGKwHA
but because the video was an old version of dreamedit, i am using the newest version..but so far everything seems norm managed to follow everything exactly BUT the ending part was kinda weird.

can i ask? can i flash this image for my dm800hd? http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...pdater-429890/

Have you tried to start with the Menu button, go to Setup -> Information -> About to see what is the detected NIMs i.e. Tuner A type? Do you get anything?

On this page, it shows the image details and also the detected hard disk and tuner

I reckon the image is not detecting the tuner card

hello, hi i have done what you said and it says Tuner A: NA(empty)

now what should i do? can someone please txt me in singapore nine011084six

oh and i checked my bouquet everything is there all the channels are able to see, just the tuner settings error thingy

Open up yr box and try to unplug and plug in the tuner to see if it can be detected, else might be the tuner faulty.

i did, but theres so many stuff in there..and the cable all seems to be connected.

flashed 3 different images. same problem.. or do you have any specific image that i should use?

I do not think that it is an image issue since u have flash with 3 different images and still the same result. Problem could be the tuner faulty. The tuner is the one that u insert the cable point. Unplug and plug it back to see if it is detected by the box.
