Ok so forgive me but I am a total noob at this. Pretty tech savy in other areas but this is a new area for me.
Spent the guts of 6 hours last night trying to get my box up and running. I spent most of my time messing about with commando 14.7 but just could not get it to work.
I then decided to flash a different image (this Digital Kaos one) but I cant seem to pick up any channels at all.
I havent progressed past the startup wizard as I figured I should be picking up channels.
I have tested the sat cable in my TV and I am picking up all of the FTA channels.
Signal strength is good when scanning ranging from 60-99% and BER is the same.
What am I missing?
I relaise there is more work to do once I get FTA channels to display but there is no point progressing any further until I get this first hurdle sorted.
Also I am based in Dublin, Ireland; I am using a fixed mini dish that I was using for Sky.
Any help would be much appreciated.
