i reflashed my dm 500 all other channels aint there apart from the free channels still aint there ive heard omthing about putting keys into my key folder on the box, But how will i transfare keys from my pc to my box what programme will i use ?

You need to use an ftp client to connect to the box.

ok i will get a crossover wire but what programme will i use and how will know about the settings and stuff??

you need a crossover cable and a programme called FlashFXP or Core FTP

a crossover cable will set you back less than ?10 depending on what length you want.

you will then have to read through the tutorials on here, connecting your box to a PC and ftp`ing ` files across

this is a typical 50 metre crossover cable m8
and while your on get one of these , then your all ready for whatever lies ahead mate

Core ftp here m8 , does the same job as Flashfxp, depends on what your comfortable with.

Sure...just make sure it's wired write!

oweny i gave u a working DK image for glasgow area wats happened to that??.ive used that saved image 4 times on familys boxes without a problem

naa u dont a flashed my own box and sisters box with that image a sent u worked no probs .wen using my image make sure u do this>If you are going to flash a backup image with Dreamup, make sure you select NO when it asks you to flash erase after transferring the image to the box. Or else all your services and bouquets will be set to default.

First many thanks to Mark015 for the image he sent me last night it worked perfect first time. Flashed my box unplugged it attached to the tv and rebooted and everything was back no scanning no adding keys everything was perfect, thank you very very much
