Am i right in thinking i have to 755 what files i send over , have tryed them as they are and running evo cam 2.17 and not getting anything must have did some thing wrong

got the sec and keys file of here and put them in to there place and still no joy not sure whats wrong using evocam 2.17 on a pli image

sorry changed cam and all working strange it works with mgcamd and not evo as evo has always worked for me more playing me thinks

what i have found that is strange is bbc hd will not work unless you hae the keys in it and this is a free to air chan well on sat systems why not cable as well

what i have found is different cams run better on different images evo on gemini is very quick mgcamd is slow for me on pli mgcamd is faster than evo .

whats the best way to back your image up on a 800

was going to put a hard drive in mine but was going to hold of as it can get hot maby wait for more updates that might sort some more probs out but will say this i like it alot better than the v+ picture

Just had a problem with the auto update of keys not working have the latest nagraroms from 8 april , had to manually change keys from tuxbox commander any ideas.

A friend was saying he was having probs with his going on and off strange they might be up to some thing did you try a different cam

i think its a lot better and hear the same from a lot of other people that have them but its up to you at the end of the day if you want to go for it im happy with it

Tried allsorts with different cams evocamd amd mgcam on gemini2 3.6 image, but now i can't even manually enter keys and get picture on any more with evocam 2.13 amd 2.17 mgcam 1.30.

Also i have been reading about chmoding files over to keys folder, i ftp them with flash fxp.

What do you edit in the camd_cfg to be a pure emu ?

I do not understand the 2 comments above as i am a newbie at dreamboxes.

Should i try a different image etc, etc

I lost BBC HD any news about whats happened,done another search too. I suppose its pointless having a dm800 without any hd channels

you can only get bbc hd if the keys are right on cable dont know why as its free to air im off next week and will have a lot of spare time on my hands so ill make you aback up of my image then and you can see how that go's

can anyone advise me where to drop the cables.xml file if using the latest PLi image? i cant scan without it and it wont load

using enigma2 boxes ie dm 7025,800 the cables xml dosent work or show up
something to dowith the way the scanning features are setup not like enigma1
manual scan is the only way im pretty sure of it
