FTP (no offence) with Vista

Hi guys,

Can someone tell me how to ftp with vista.

I have been trying for hours but no luck.

does the dw 2.1 frm bigm.. work as whem i flash it it still comes up with dw version 2.0

same as with xp, just turn all the protection shite off, firewalls ect...


as for that img it will come up the same as it isnt actually a new img as some would have you believe its actually the old img with the addtion of the new fixes.

so it v2 with fixes and not really v2.1

I've tried many times, disconnect firewal, looked up the web, done everyting thats asked but still cannot ftp. can I use flashfxp with vista if so how?

as for dw2.1 i have flashed many times with dreamup, sucessfully scanned but it only finds fta.

help is appreciated.

Have you tried downloading Smartftp or Coreftp and using that?

Cute ftp pro 8.1 is the best on vista i find had no probs at all.

I think personaly it's the best.

Tried flash fx, bulletproof, smart ftp and a few others but still come back to cute.

Ensure it is 8.1 as the only one that is vista compatable, if using patched version ensure you delete globalscapes folder, and dont use it on there site as they killed off (unregisterd it) one of my installations.

FlashFXP

FlashFXP is available from here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Flash Wizard Pro v4.0.

This is version 3.0.2. Not sure though if this works with Vista (v 3.4 definitely does).

If you go to the FlashFXP website, you can download a 30 day evaluation version of v3.6

I just use Filezilla from here FileZilla - Client Download it is free and works with xp and vista. Simple to use and no messing with hacks/cracks/passwords etc.
