Now, going to open here up and have a looksy inside and see whats its capible off. So whats best image to use on 800 clones?

No m8 it's a satellite tuner (DVB-S) but you have the option of putting a cable tuner (DVB-C) or terrestrial tuner (DVB-T) in.

We have been saying that for over 3 years now and Im sure many will continue to say it, but reality is I'll be happy to use it for as long as availible. Looks like changible tuner in it so can switch it to say if I wish

ok guys, Ive got pli installed on it and working etc.. but pli image only allows you to downloaad evocamd 2.17 and all the other cams. Which dont seem to work. Only one that does is the mcgcam, which doesnt show the epg properly..but picture is working and sound.

Anyone cleaify what image you have on your 800c and which cam etc??? To save me testing all the other images.

Im using Nabilosat image with Mgcamd-1.30
to be honest its not great my picture freezes quite regularly
and the EPG is poor taking ages to show.

It also takes about 5mins to warm up and function on start up
does yours do the same?

Mgcamd-1.30 is the only rom I can get it to work with and to be honest, Im not happy with it. That why Im looking to get evocam working on it as I know that picture/sound/epg etc.. all good using the rom. When I use mgc rom I only get epg on free channels, but have picture & sound on pay channel also, but without the epg. THe HD chanels show etc..

Takes about 3-4mins to bootup an 800hd which is perfectly normal.

Anyone have download link to evocam 2.13 or 2.14 and instructions on ftping to the box, so I can test this out?

I've also ordered 500gb hard drive which should arrive in 2 days to play with that also in the 800. So I epxect when all testing done, I'll post my review on the 800 and abilities and upload a working image for others to avoid all this hassle.

ok new update:
now flashed the NabiloBlackHole_DM800_06_s69.nfi image onto the box, put in magic files and downloaded evocam 2.17/necand 150 and picture/sound is great!

However the epg is EXTREMELY slow it updating. I have to watch the channel for a few mins before the peg updates on that channel. But it doesnt update on all other channels until I weatch them....anyone any ideas on why this is or know a way to fix?

i have a dm7025 and its exactly the same, no matter what image i try.
think there is a conflict between epg and enigma 2.
have you tried recover bad sectors.

the enigma2 images out have not been patched for ukcable epg so u wont ever get a decent epg on it no matter what image u use
time to patch your own images
