    No Channels Found

First of all apologies for asking another question but i am a complete newbie. I have managed to Flash my box with pli-iolite-dm600pvr-20071230-4014.nfi and i have run the scan channels Auto but no channels were found.

Is there anything else i should be doing i have found a manual scan should i use this and what Freq should i add.

I am in a cable area Ex CW do i have to add files to see anything i have read somewhere about a Cable.xml file ?

    This is the exact message
"All known transponders have been tried, but no lock was possible. Verify attenna / cable setup or try another Satilite network."

were you trying to scan the default options? they are not uk symbal rates,
    uk is 6887 and 6952,,,,,, ( not 6900 etc )
add a uk cables.xml by ftp... or use a uk-ready image,,,or even pli backup someone may have added the correct cables.xml
    boom!

Thanks just need to find that cables.xml file now. The only thing i think i may have found on rapidshare is a keys folder that may come in handy.

Also i would assume the cables file would be put here to overwrite this one.

there was a file there cables file there " tuxbox " which i replaced and it seem to do them all. Do i need to reboot box and rescan as it still seems to not pick anything up, just says scanning 378 / 6900. Im assuming scanning 6900 is no good.

Think a reboot worked its now scanning 6952.

Should i scan "6887" after to this one has now found a transponder and says 7 minutes left.

Got some free to air ones now, just scanning 6887. There are some others in the list do you scan them all to get other channels ?

Just another update have now scanned all channels and only picked up FTA TV. :-(, not sure what to do now.

evocamd is a softcam that reads the keys ,,,,
probably downlaodable from the Pli panel

Taking a look but can only see images at the moment.
                              Have downloaded, cccam-2.0.9
Any idea where i put unzipped files and do i then have to rescan ?

Just read this on this Forum "The Pli team already have this on their download server. Use the Blue button > Software management > Downloads > Softcam > Evocamd 2.... It will install automatically once you download the file from their server."

Would that do the trick ?
